Privacy Policy
Seasona — AI Color Analysis & Virtual Try-On
Last Updated: July 5, 2026
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. This Privacy Policy, together with our
Terms of Service, contains important disclaimers and
limitations of liability. It also explains how we handle photographs of you, including
selfies and full-body photos. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge
and agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how Seasona (the "App"), developed and operated
by Viksva, MB, a company registered in Vilnius, Lithuania ("we," "our," or
"us"), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application and
related services. We are committed to handling your data transparently and in accordance with
applicable data protection laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
ENTERTAINMENT & INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY — NOT PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
Seasona is a style, beauty, and entertainment tool. Its color-season analysis, palette
suggestions, color-match scores, makeup and outfit recommendations, and virtual try-on images
are subjective, approximate, AI-generated, and provided for personal entertainment and
informational purposes only. They are NOT professional styling, cosmetic,
dermatological, medical, or health advice, and are NOT a scientific or authoritative
determination of any kind. AI can and will make mistakes, and results may be inaccurate or
completely incorrect. The App does not analyze, diagnose, or assess skin health, medical
conditions, or any physical condition. Colors and makeup shades shown in the App are digital
approximations that depend on your screen and lighting and may differ from the real product, so
do not rely on them to match any physical item. Do not rely on the App for any decision that
matters, and consult a qualified professional (for example a dermatologist for any skin concern)
where appropriate. You use the App entirely at your own risk. See Sections 13–14 and our Terms of
Service for the full disclaimers.
IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT PHOTOS AND FACIAL / BODY IMAGES.
- To provide color analysis and virtual try-on, the App processes photographs you choose
to provide, which may include images of your face (selfies) and your body.
- The App analyzes visual characteristics in your photos — such as apparent skin tone,
hair color, eye color, and overall contrast — solely to generate aesthetic
color and style suggestions.
- We do NOT use facial recognition to identify you. The App does not
create, store, or use a faceprint, face-geometry template, or other biometric
identifier to recognize or identify any individual, and does not attempt to determine
your identity.
- We do not sell your photos, and we do not use your photos to build or train our own AI
models or facial-recognition systems. We do not disclose your photos to any third party
except our AI processor (Google), solely to perform the analysis or try-on you request.
- Where required by applicable law (including U.S. state biometric-privacy laws such as
the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), and GDPR Article 9 for
special-category data), your affirmative in-app action to agree to AI processing of your
photo, together with your use of the camera or photo-upload features, constitutes your
informed, express consent to the processing described here. You may withdraw consent at
any time by discontinuing use of these features, deleting locally stored images, or
contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Photos: Selfies and body photos you capture or select for color analysis,
color matching, and virtual try-on, and photos of clothing, makeup, or products you submit
for analysis.
- Style Inputs: Onboarding answers, preferences, your name or nickname if
you choose to enter one, saved palettes, wardrobe items, and other content you create in
the App.
- Support Communications: Messages and information you send to our support
team.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Features used, screens viewed, analyses performed, and general
in-app activity.
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, app version,
and a device/installation identifier.
- Anonymous Authentication Identifier: We use anonymous Firebase
Authentication to secure access to our backend. This assigns a random, anonymous
identifier to your app installation; it is not your name and is not used to identify you
personally.
- Abuse-Prevention Signals: We use Firebase App Check (Play Integrity on
Android, DeviceCheck on iOS) to help ensure requests come from a genuine, untampered app.
- Performance & Analytics Data: Crash reports, error logs, and event
analytics (see Section 4).
- Purchase Data: Subscription and purchase events, managed through the app
stores and RevenueCat (see Section 4).
2.3 Camera and Photo Library Permissions
Camera Permission: We request camera access so you can take selfies, body
photos, and photos of clothing or products for analysis and try-on. Photo Library
Permission: We request photo-library access so you can select existing photos instead
of taking new ones. When you use these features:
- Photos are captured or selected within the App for the purpose of AI analysis and try-on.
- Photos and results are stored locally on your device so you can revisit them.
- Photos are transmitted, via our secure backend, to Google's Gemini AI for processing (see
Section 3 and 4).
- You can delete locally stored photos and data at any time through the App or by removing the
App from your device.
3. How Your Photos Are Processed and Transmitted
- Processing flow: When you request an analysis or try-on, the relevant
image(s) are sent from your device, through our secure backend (Firebase Cloud Functions,
operated on Google Cloud), to Google's Gemini AI service, which returns
an analysis or generated image.
- No permanent storage by us: We do not maintain a copy of your photos in
our own persistent storage after your request is fulfilled. Images are handled only
transiently to process your request and return a result.
- Local storage: Your photos and results remain stored locally on your
device unless you delete them.
- Third-party processing: The processing of images and prompts by Google is
governed by Google's Privacy
Policy and Google's applicable terms. We do not control, and are not responsible for,
Google's data-handling practices.
- No deletion control over third parties: Because processing is performed by
Google and is not stored on our servers, we cannot delete or retrieve any data once it has
been transmitted to Google; retention is governed solely by Google's policies.
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy and
terms. We are not responsible for their data practices:
4.1 Google Gemini AI (via Firebase / Google Cloud)
Photos and related prompts are processed using Google's Gemini AI to generate color analysis,
color-match results, makeup suggestions, and virtual try-on images. Data is transmitted to
Google for processing. AI can and will make mistakes; results may be significantly
inaccurate or completely incorrect. Google's processing is governed by
Google's Privacy Policy. We
have no liability for how Google handles, processes, stores, or retains your data.
4.2 Firebase (Authentication, App Check, Cloud Functions, Analytics)
We use Google Firebase for anonymous authentication, abuse prevention (App Check), our backend
proxy (Cloud Functions), and usage analytics. Firebase Analytics collects app events, a
device/installation identifier, and in-app purchase/subscription events to help us understand
usage and improve the App. This data is processed by Google in accordance with
Google's Privacy Policy. We
use analytics to understand and improve the App, and not to build advertising profiles about
you. You can limit analytics and reset or disable the advertising identifier through your
device's privacy/tracking settings, and where local law requires consent for analytics, we rely
on the choice you make in-app or on your device.
4.3 RevenueCat and Subscription Management
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed by your device's app store
(Apple App Store or Google Play Store), not by us.
- Subscription Data: RevenueCat processes subscription status and purchase
history to enable premium features and may assign an anonymous user ID to track
subscription status across devices.
- Third-Party Processing: RevenueCat processes information according to its
own privacy policy, and we are not responsible for its practices.
Subscription Plan Details:
- Weekly Subscription: May include a free trial period (as shown at
purchase). Billing begins automatically after any trial expires unless cancelled.
- Annual Subscription: Billing begins as described at purchase.
- Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
through your app store account before the current period ends.
- Trial Cancellation: You can cancel during any trial period to avoid
charges.
4.4 Third-Party Disclaimer
THIRD-PARTY DISCLAIMER: We provide links to third-party policies for your
convenience, but we do not control these external services and have no liability for their
privacy practices, security, or data handling. You use third-party services at your own risk.
5. How We Use Information
- Provide the service: Generate color-season analysis, palettes,
color-match scores, makeup and outfit suggestions, and virtual try-on images (all for
entertainment/informational purposes only).
- Operate and secure the App: Authenticate requests, prevent abuse, manage
usage limits and subscriptions.
- Improve the App: Analyze aggregate usage and diagnose crashes and errors.
- Support: Respond to your inquiries.
- Legal compliance: Meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
6. Data Storage and Security
- Local-first: Your photos, palettes, wardrobe, and results are stored
locally on your device.
- Transient transmission: Photos are transmitted to Google's Gemini AI (via
our backend) only to process your requests, and are not retained by us afterward.
- No method is 100% secure: No method of transmission or storage is
completely secure. While we take reasonable measures, we cannot guarantee absolute
security.
SECURITY DISCLAIMER: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we
have no liability for any unauthorized access, interception, data breach, or security incident.
You acknowledge that you provide data at your own risk.
7. Data Retention
- Photos & results: Stored locally on your device only; not stored on our
servers. You can delete them at any time.
- Data sent to Google: Transmitted for processing and governed by Google's
retention policies, over which we have no control.
- Usage & analytics: Retained in aggregated/pseudonymized form for app
improvement.
- Subscription data: Managed by the app stores and RevenueCat.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port
your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Because most
personal data (including your photos) is stored locally on your device, you can exercise many
of these rights directly by deleting data in the App or removing the App. For other requests,
contact us using the details in Section 11. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a
supervisory authority (in Lithuania, the State Data Protection Inspectorate).
9. Third-Party and Other People's Images
You are responsible for the photos you submit. You must only submit photos that you own or have
the right to use, and you must not submit photos of other people without their consent. Do not
submit photos of children. We are not responsible for content you choose to submit, and you
agree to indemnify us for any claims arising from it (see our Terms of Service).
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children. You must be at least 13, and where the minimum age of
digital consent in your country is higher (up to 16 in parts of the EEA), you must meet that age
or have verifiable parental/guardian consent. We do not knowingly collect personal information
(including photos) from children under the applicable age, and we do not knowingly process
photographs of children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we
will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. Contact Information
12. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, our legal bases include:
- Consent: For processing your photos and any special-category (biometric)
data, and for optional analytics. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract: To provide the features you request.
- Legitimate interests: To secure, maintain, and improve the App and prevent
fraud/abuse, balanced against your rights.
- Legal obligation: To comply with applicable law.
International transfers: Your information may be processed in countries outside
your own (including by Google). Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as Standard
Contractual Clauses) apply to such transfers.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
- THE APP AND ALL RESULTS ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT
WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
- SEASONA IS AN ENTERTAINMENT AND INFORMATIONAL TOOL. ALL COLOR-SEASON RESULTS, PALETTES,
COLOR-MATCH SCORES, MAKEUP AND OUTFIT SUGGESTIONS, AND VIRTUAL TRY-ON IMAGES ARE
SUBJECTIVE, APPROXIMATE, AND MAY BE INACCURATE OR COMPLETELY INCORRECT.
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR
PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DECISIONS OR PURCHASES YOU MAKE BASED ON THE APP'S OUTPUTS
(INCLUDING PURCHASES OF CLOTHING, COSMETICS, OR OTHER PRODUCTS).
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY ERRORS OR OUTPUTS OF THIRD-PARTY AI SERVICES, OR FOR HOW GOOGLE
OR OTHER THIRD PARTIES HANDLE YOUR DATA.
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY SKIN REACTION, ALLERGY, OR OTHER HARM FROM COSMETICS OR
PRODUCTS YOU CHOOSE TO USE. ALWAYS PATCH-TEST AND FOLLOW PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Viksva, MB and its officers, directors,
employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or
expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of the
App; (b) your violation of this Policy or our Terms; (c) your violation of the rights of
another, including submitting photos of other people without consent; (d) any content or images
you submit; and (e) any decisions or purchases made based on the App's outputs.
15. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you may have rights to know, delete, correct, and limit the use
of your personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them.
We do not "sell" your personal information for money, and we do not use it for
cross-context behavioral advertising. To the extent any analytics or third-party
integration could be considered a "sale" or "share" under California or other U.S. state law,
you may opt out through your device's privacy/tracking settings or by contacting us using the
details in Section 11. These rights are subject to the limitations in this Policy and applicable
law.
16. U.S. Biometric Privacy Laws
To the extent laws such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) or similar state
laws apply, we reiterate: the App analyzes color and appearance characteristics in your photos
to generate style suggestions only; it does not create a biometric identifier or
faceprint to identify any individual, does not use facial-recognition identification, and does
not sell, lease, or profit from biometric information. Any transient processing of
facial images is performed with your consent, solely to deliver the results you request.
17. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated
"Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, in-app notice. Continued use after changes take
effect constitutes acceptance.
18. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law
principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence.
NOTHING IN THIS POLICY LIMITS RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER MANDATORY APPLICABLE
LAW, including mandatory consumer rights and, where applicable, liability for death or
personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or gross misconduct. If any provision is held
invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
SUMMARY: Seasona is for entertainment and informational purposes only. Its
AI-generated color, makeup, outfit, and try-on results are subjective and may be wrong. Your
photos are processed by Google's Gemini AI to deliver results, are not used to identify you, and
are not stored on our servers. Use the App at your own risk. If you do not agree, do not use the
App.
