CRITICAL WARNING: These Terms of Service contain extensive limitations and disclaimers designed to protect our interests and limit our liability. By using this app, you acknowledge and agree to these limitations. We strongly recommend reading these terms carefully before using our services. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you must not use our app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Banknote Identifier mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Viksva, MB, a company registered in Vilnius, Lithuania ("Company," "we," "our," or "us").
IMPORTANT: If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install, access, or use the App. Your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of these Terms and any modifications we may make to them.
2. Description of Service
Banknote Identifier is a mobile application that uses Google Gemini artificial intelligence to analyze images of currency and provide identification, condition grading, and approximate valuations. The App provides:
- Currency identification through AI-powered image analysis using Google Gemini AI models
- Condition assessment and grading based on visual analysis
- Approximate value estimation based on identified characteristics
- Support for multiple collectible types: currency, coins, banknotes, and antiques
- Two-sided capture (front and back) for comprehensive analysis
- Collection history and management
- Basic features for free users with daily usage limits
- Premium subscription tiers with enhanced features and unlimited usage
IDENTIFICATION AND VALUATION DISCLAIMER: This app is provided STRICTLY for educational, entertainment, and informational purposes only and is NOT a substitute for professional numismatic appraisal, authentication, or expert opinion. This app is an EDUCATIONAL AND ENTERTAINMENT TOOL ONLY. AI technology can and does make mistakes, and identifications and valuations may contain significant errors, inaccuracies, or be completely incorrect. ALL IDENTIFICATIONS AND VALUATIONS ARE APPROXIMATE AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON FOR ANY CRITICAL, COMMERCIAL, INSURANCE, LEGAL, OR PROFESSIONAL PURPOSE. We do not guarantee the accuracy, precision, or correctness of any identification or valuation provided by the app. You MUST NOT use this app for: (1) buying or selling currency without independent verification; (2) insurance valuations; (3) estate valuations; (4) authentication purposes; (5) any purpose requiring certified or expert appraisal. You MUST consult professional numismatic experts, auction houses, or certified appraisers for any valuations that matter. Results may vary significantly and are completely approximate. We take ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSIBILITY for any errors in identification or valuation.
3. Subscription Plans and Billing
3.1 Available Subscription Tiers
We offer the following subscription plans:
- Weekly Subscription: Includes a 3-day free trial period, after which you will be charged for weekly access to premium features
- Yearly Subscription: Annual access to premium features with immediate billing upon subscription
3.2 Free Trial Terms
- The weekly subscription includes a 3-day free trial that begins immediately upon subscription
- You will have full access to premium features during the trial period
- Your payment method will be charged automatically when the trial period expires unless you cancel before the trial ends
- The yearly subscription does not include a free trial period and billing begins immediately
3.3 Automatic Renewal
IMPORTANT: All subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the current billing period expires.
- Weekly subscriptions automatically renew every 7 days
- Yearly subscriptions automatically renew every 365 days
- You will be charged for the renewal at the same rate as your original subscription
- Renewal charges occur through your App Store or Google Play Store account
- You will not receive advance notice of renewal charges as this is managed by the respective app store
3.4 Payment Processing
- All payments are processed through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store)
- Payment will be charged to your app store account upon confirmation of purchase or after the free trial period expires
- Subscription management, including billing, is handled by the respective app store
4. Subscription Management and Cancellation
4.1 How to Cancel Your Subscription
For iOS (Apple App Store):
- Open the Settings app on your iOS device
- Tap your Apple ID at the top of the screen
- Tap "Subscriptions"
- Find "Banknote Identifier" and tap it
- Tap "Cancel Subscription"
For Android (Google Play Store):
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap the profile icon in the top right
- Tap "Payments & subscriptions" → "Subscriptions"
- Find "Banknote Identifier" and tap it
- Tap "Cancel subscription"
4.2 Effect of Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next billing cycle
- Cancellation must be done through your app store account, not through the App itself
- After cancellation, you will retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period
- Once your current billing period expires, you will lose access to premium features but can continue using basic free features
- Your account data and collection history will be preserved
4.3 Refunds
NO REFUND POLICY:
- No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for any purchases made through the App
- All Sales Final: All subscription purchases are final and non-refundable
- Payment Processing: All payments are processed and handled exclusively by Apple Inc. (Apple App Store) or Google LLC (Google Play Store), not by us
- App Store Responsibility: Apple and Google have sole control over payment processing, billing, and any refund decisions. We do not have the ability to process refunds directly
- App Store Refund Requests: If you believe you are entitled to a refund under Apple's or Google's refund policies, you must contact the respective app store directly following their refund request procedures
- Apple Refund Process: For iOS users, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support directly
- Google Refund Process: For Android users, visit the Google Play Store support or request a refund through your Google Play account
- Our Limited Role: We have no control over or responsibility for app store refund decisions. Any refund requests are subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies, not ours
- Free Trial Reminder: You can cancel during the 3-day free trial period (weekly subscription) to avoid being charged
5. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Uses
5.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App only for lawful, educational, and entertainment purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your device and account
- Ensuring you have the right to submit any images or content for analysis
- Using the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Understanding that all identifications and valuations are approximate and for educational/entertainment purposes only
- NOT relying on the app for commercial, insurance, legal, or professional valuations
- Consulting professional numismatic experts for any important valuations or authentications
- Verifying all identifications with proper expert resources when accuracy matters
- Understanding that AI-based identifications can be significantly inaccurate
- Not using the app for insurance claims, estate valuations, or legal purposes without professional verification
5.2 Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Share your subscription access with others
- Submit content that violates intellectual property rights
- Attempt to circumvent usage limitations or technical measures
- Use the App in a way that could damage or impair our services
- Submit inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content
- Use the App for commercial purposes without our written permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
6. Privacy and Data Collection
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual Property
The App and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by Viksva, MB and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
8. Third-Party Services and AI Limitations
The App integrates with third-party services including but not limited to:
- Google Gemini AI for image analysis and money identification processing
- RevenueCat for subscription management
- Apple App Store and Google Play Store for payment processing
- Analytics services for app improvement
These third parties have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services.
AI LIMITATIONS AND ERRORS: The AI technology used in this app (Google Gemini AI) can and WILL make mistakes. AI-generated identifications and valuations may contain significant errors, inaccuracies, or be completely incorrect. AI identification is NOT accurate and should NOT be treated as a professional, certified, or authoritative appraisal. This is an EDUCATIONAL AND ENTERTAINMENT TOOL ONLY, not a professional authentication or valuation service. ALL IDENTIFICATIONS AND VALUATIONS ARE APPROXIMATE. Accuracy depends on many unpredictable factors including image quality, currency condition, lighting, angle, and AI interpretation errors. You MUST consult professional numismatic experts for any identifications or valuations that matter. We have ABSOLUTELY NO LIABILITY for any errors, inaccuracies, or incorrect identifications produced by AI services. DO NOT use this app for insurance, estate, legal, or any regulated purposes without professional verification.
9. Service Availability and Modifications
- We strive to provide continuous service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability
- We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any features at any time
- We may update the App to improve functionality, security, or compliance
- Critical updates may be required for continued service access
10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
10.1 Service Disclaimers
IMPORTANT: The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, precision, or correctness of any identifications or valuations provided by the app
- The App is STRICTLY for educational, entertainment, and informational purposes only and is NOT a substitute for professional numismatic appraisal or authentication
- This is an EDUCATIONAL AND ENTERTAINMENT TOOL ONLY, not a professional authentication or valuation service
- AI technology CAN AND WILL make mistakes - identifications and valuations may contain significant errors, inaccuracies, or be completely incorrect
- ALL IDENTIFICATIONS AND VALUATIONS ARE APPROXIMATE AND UNRELIABLE for any critical, commercial, insurance, legal, or professional purposes
- You MUST consult professional numismatic experts for any valuations that matter
- We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- We are not responsible for any consequences resulting from reliance on identifications or valuations provided by this app
- We do not guarantee that the app will meet your requirements or expectations
- We are not responsible for any errors, inaccuracies, or incorrect identifications provided by AI services (Google Gemini AI)
- Identification accuracy varies significantly based on currency condition, image quality, lighting, and other unpredictable factors
- We are not liable for any decisions made based on app identifications or valuations
10.2 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- OUR TOTAL LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
- WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY SERVICES OR APP STORE POLICIES
- YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENCES RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON IDENTIFICATIONS OR VALUATIONS PROVIDED BY THIS APP
- WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DECISIONS MADE BASED ON THE APP'S IDENTIFICATIONS OR VALUATIONS
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY ERRORS, INACCURACIES, OR INCORRECT IDENTIFICATIONS PROVIDED BY AI SERVICES (GOOGLE GEMINI AI)
- WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, OR TECHNICAL ISSUES
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON THE APP'S OUTPUT
- WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL, COMMERCIAL, LEGAL, OR PERSONAL LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSSES ARISING FROM INACCURATE IDENTIFICATIONS OR VALUATIONS INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: PURCHASES, SALES, INSURANCE CLAIMS, ESTATE VALUATIONS, AUTHENTICATION ERRORS, OR TRADE DISPUTES
- WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY HARM OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF INCORRECT IDENTIFICATIONS OR VALUATIONS
- WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY REGULATORY VIOLATIONS OR LEGAL ISSUES ARISING FROM USE OF THIS APP
11. Indemnification
INDEMNIFICATION: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Viksva, MB, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the App
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Any content or images you submit through the App
- Any consequences resulting from reliance on identifications or valuations provided by the App
- Any decisions made based on the App's identifications or valuations
- Any errors, inaccuracies, or incorrect identifications provided by AI services (Google Gemini AI)
- Any commercial, insurance, legal, or regulatory issues arising from use of identifications or valuations
- Any financial losses resulting from inaccurate identifications or valuations
- Any harm or damages arising from use of incorrect identifications or valuations
- Any violations of laws or regulations arising from use of this App
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the App ceases immediately
- You remain liable for all charges incurred prior to termination
- Subscription billing continues until cancelled through your app store account
- Provisions regarding liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania
- Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Lithuania
- You consent to the jurisdiction of Lithuanian courts
- If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by:
- Posting updated Terms in the App
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Providing in-app notification for significant changes
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. App Store Specific Terms
15.1 Apple App Store Additional Terms
For users who download the App from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:
- These Terms are between you and Viksva, MB only, not with Apple Inc.
- Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
- Apple has no obligation to provide support services for the App
- All payments and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies
- Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you
- Apple is not responsible for any consequences resulting from identifications, valuations, or your use of the App
15.2 Google Play Store Additional Terms
For users who download the App from Google Play Store, the following additional terms apply:
- These Terms are between you and Viksva, MB only, not with Google LLC
- Google is not responsible for the App or its content
- Google has no obligation to provide support services for the App
- All payments and refunds are handled exclusively by Google in accordance with Google Play's policies
- Google is not responsible for any consequences resulting from identifications, valuations, or your use of the App
16. Contact Information
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Viksva, MB regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
FINAL WARNING: By using this app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. ALL STAMP IDENTIFICATIONS AND VALUATIONS ARE APPROXIMATE AND FOR EDUCATIONAL/ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY. DO NOT rely on this app for insurance, estate, legal, or any critical valuations.
